“One is the wheel; the bands are twelve;
three are the hubs – who can understand it?
Three hundred spokes and sixty in addition
have been hammered therein and firmly riveted…
Though manifested, it is yet hidden, secret,
its name is the Ancient, a mighty mode of being;
in Skambha is established this whole world;
therein is set fast all that moves and breathes.”
(Atharva Veda X, 8)
The first condition of the Supermind is precision, clarity and an order that holds equally true for cosmic, planetary or individual systems. This condition is met by the revelation of an absolute fixed point from which one may obtain a true vision of the order of things decreed behind the veil and taking form in the physical. This Axial Pillar, the Hub of the Vedic Wheel, whereby all is seen and known, is called “SKAMBHA”, a realization that goes to the very heart of creation and unveils the mysteries of existence itself. SKAMBHA is the SEED of the New Cosmology that unites God, the Cosmos and the Individual Soul in an Integral vision of Gnosis.
In our Conference - Applications of The New Cosmology – Thea will discuss her realization of Skambha and the Laws of Correspondence and Equivalence that give rise to its non-speculative vision. In this session students will have the opportunity to view a video presentation on the Mother’s Inner Chamber and discuss how these primordial Vedic truths of Hub and Ecliptic Wheel have been woven into its sacred architecture.
These Supramental mysteries are not for the masses but for those intrepid seekers who wish to move beyond our present immature culture of “Spiritual relativism” in which no one’s religious truth is more relevant than anyone else’s. They are for the advanced spiritual aspirant seeking an exactness and clarity that only Absolute knowledge can provide. With Thea’s incomparable guidance we will move forward together in real knowledge, acquiring along the way a more harmonious orientation to life and the cosmos in which we live.
Part and parcel of the Vedic realization is the profound relationship between the Cosmic Order and the symbols of its manifestation upon the earth. This knowledge is found in every Vedic temple which, if properly built, is a symbolic reconstruction of the universe, binding together the world of the Gods and man. Rituals to the Vedic Gods and the timing of their collective worship was considered the most important aspect of temple culture because it imprinted upon the worshipers the correspondences and equivalencies designed to awaken an awareness of the common Center that exists in both the cosmic order and the human soul.
